Spa Voices, Please

 

Please be considerate of other guests while in common areas and treatment rooms. We know that when we are with friends and having a good time, our voices can rise. Many of our guests come here to find peace and escape the noise of the outside world. Sound carries, even through walls, so we ask that you remember to use your spa voices at all times.

Slow Down

 

Plan on arriving at least 15-30 minutes before your scheduled treatment time for check-in, changing, and enjoying the far-infra red sauna and/or relaxation lounge. We offer an assortment of teas, a fruit infused spa water, and healthy snacks in the relaxation lounges for you while you are here. You are free to bring in wine or champagne and snacks of your own as well, just let our reservation specialist know you will be doing so. (We do not recommend using the sauna during/after alcohol consumption.)

Power Down

 

Cell phones are always with us, please put them on silent and leave them in your locker while you are here. Allow yourself and other guests to really relax. We understand some emergency personnel will need to keep their phones with them. In this case, we ask that they are silenced and that you refrain from talking on them while in our common areas.

Communicate

 

We have amazing, talented, and intuitive therapists, but alas, they are not mind readers. We invite you to communicate your goals for your treatments each and every time you visit. This will allow your therapist to customize your treatments to give you the very best results possible. Tell us any specific concerns, and ask any questions you may have.

Dress Code

 

Spa Royale provides robes, slippers, towels, and keyless lockers to our guests. Under your robe you may be fully undressed or keep on your under garments, or wear shorts, whatever makes you the most comfortable.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What Should I expect the first time at the spa?

A: When you arrive at the Spa, check in at the reception desk. Our Spa Coordinators will assign you your own personal Spa assistant that will escort you to the locker area to change into your Spa robe and sandals. Next, you will be escorted to our beautiful relaxation lounge to relax comfortably until your therapist is ready to take you to your private suite for your service.

Q: Are Gratuities Included?

A:Gratuities are not included in the service price. Although not required, gratuities are greatly appreciated and are generally between 15-20% of your service value.

Q: What do I wear under the robe?

A:Whatever you want. While most of our guests wear nothing, we’ve seen some still sporting their socks, shirts… you are here to relax. Don’t worry about it. Whatever you choose is just fine!

Q: What do I wear during my treatment?

A: You will be appropriately covered at all times with towels and cozy blankets during your treatments. However, if you feel more comfortable keeping minimal undergarments on, that is perfectly fine. Bear in mind that all of our therapists are licensed professionals working under a prescribed code of conduct.

Q: What do I wear during a bikini wax?

A: We recommend wearing something comfortable and loose-fitting. You will be modestly covered while we work.

Q: How often should I get a facial treatment?

A: This depends on your skin type. For instance, for problematic skin, we recommend starting with a series of six treatments- one treatment every week for six weeks. For maintenance and relaxation purposes, we recommend every four weeks at the minimum.

Q: What about my comfort?

A:This is your time and you should delight in the experience to the fullest. Whether it’s the room temperature, the amount of massage pressure or the volume of music, just tell us, we want it to be the “perfect” experience for you.

Q: What is your late arrival policy?

A: If you are running late for your appointment, we will accommodate the remainder of your time, so the next scheduled guest is not inconvenienced. The fee will remain the same.

Q: What is Spa Royale's cancellation policy?

A: We hope that you do not have to cancel but in the event that you do, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We must charge 50% of the service fee for no shows and same day cancellations. Just as in the Hotel/Hospitality Industry we require a credit card  number to hold all appointments. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Although your card will not be charged at the time of booking, it will be used in the event of a no show or same day cancellation. Supplying us with your credit information for a reservation is confirmation of your acceptance of these terms.

Q: What is your return policy?

A: Unopened retail items may be returned only with a receipt and within 30 days of purchase and will be eligible for store credit ONLY. Gift Card, Makeup and Skincare sales are FINAL SALE. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Q: What is your gift certificate policy?

A: Gift certificates make the perfect gift for any occasion! Gift certificates do not expire. All gift certificate sales are FINAL SALE. NO REFUNDS. Gift cards may be redeemed for treatments, retail, or gratuity. Gift certificates should be treated as cash and must be present to redeem. Spa Royale does not accept third party gift certificates.

Q: Are children allowed in the spa?

A: We are an adult-only Spa. Children under the age of 13 are not permitted.

Q: What if I have special health conditions?

A: Please notify our Spa Manager or your therapist before scheduling your appointment if you have high blood pressure, allergies, other physical ailments or disabilities, or if you are pregnant. If you have any concern at all, please let us know. As always please obtain permission from your physician before scheduling your appointment.

 

We want to ensure your experience with us is restorative for your mind, body and spirit. It is imperative that you disclose any health issues to your therapist before your treatment begins.

  • Persons using topical prescriptions such as but not limited to: Retin-A, Renova, or Accutane CANNOT be waxed and CANNOT receive any type of Glycolic treatments.
  • Pregnant women cannot receive cupping, hot stone treatments, nor medical grade peels. As always, please obtain permission from your physician before scheduling any services.
  • Spa Royale reserves the right to refuse services to any guest.

Q: Great Escape Deposit Policy

At Spa Royale, we strive to provide our valued guests with an exceptional and relaxing experience through our range of services and packages. Our Great Escape packages are designed to offer a day of indulgence and rejuvenation. To ensure the availability of these popular packages and to manage our resources efficiently, there is a deposit requirement for all Great Escape package reservations. For your convenience a 20% gratuity is also included in the package total All Great Escape packages require a 50% deposit at the time of booking.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:  We hope that you don’t need to cancel your package, but if you do, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Your deposit will be applied to a future rebooking or refunded fully with your 48-hour notice. Cancellations made after the specified timeframe or failure to attend the scheduled appointment will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

By making a booking for a Great Escape package at Spa Royale, you acknowledge and agree to comply with the deposit requirement as outlined in this policy.
